GUST CTLR Offers services to help you
GUST CTLR offers students several “outside of class” services to enrich their academic experience at GUST. There is no charge for our services.
This semester CTLR is experiencing a substantial increase in requests for our community- service program. This Fall 2017, we have 40 (10 students per program) English education students to volunteer as facilitators in private schools for 3 in-class programs dedicated to Primary levels in collaboration with INJAZ. The three programs are Ourselves, Our Family, and Our Nation.
3 sections of Head Start for the linguistics, Education, and literature students will be available. We will tailor each Head Start program for each specific major. Head start is 3 sessions usually conducted in the same week. We plan on running this program during the fall and spring semesters. We will inform you of the volunteers that will facilitate the programs once we get closer to the dates that you select. This year, we are collaborating with INJAZ in which Each Head Start session will end with a job shadow.
